A Practice Built Around the Individual

Pattaya Family was established to offer family law counsel to individuals who need careful, considered advice — and who deserve to be heard.

Our Practice

Pattaya Family came into being from a straightforward observation: people dealing with family law matters in Thailand — particularly those from outside the country — often find the process difficult to navigate, not because the law is unusually complicated, but because the support available to them rarely meets them where they are.

We opened our office on Beach Road, Pattaya City, to address that gap directly. Our work is limited to family matters under Thai law. We do not operate a general practice. Every client who comes to us is dealing with something personal and, in many cases, something they have not had to face before. That shapes how we work.

A consultation with Pattaya Family begins with listening. There is no standard questionnaire and no fixed structure. The first meeting is a conversation about your circumstances, conducted at whatever pace suits you. At the close of that appointment, you leave with a written summary and a considered view on the options available to you. Whether or not you choose to proceed further is entirely your decision.

Our counsel has worked with clients navigating marriage dissolution, financial settlements, arrangements concerning children, and the particular complexities that arise when international and Thai law intersect. We explain each stage before it happens, confirm everything in writing once it has, and are available to answer questions throughout.

We operate from Pattaya because we believe local presence matters. Clients do not need to travel to Bangkok for qualified family law advice. They can speak with us here, in English, in surroundings that feel more like a private appointment than a legal transaction.

Transparent Fees

Fees are discussed and agreed before any work begins. There are no hidden costs and no charges applied without your prior knowledge.

Child-Centred Approach

Family Law Counsel in Pattaya, Thailand

Pattaya is home to a substantial international community — individuals and families from across Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia who have made the city their permanent or semi-permanent residence. For many of them, questions about family law arise at some point: how Thai law applies to a marriage registered abroad, what the procedure for dissolution involves when one or both parties hold foreign nationality, or how financial arrangements are structured when property in Thailand is held alongside assets elsewhere.

Our practice addresses these questions in a setting that is accessible and clear. We work only in family law, which means our knowledge of the relevant Thai statutes, court procedures, and registration requirements is current and specific. We do not rely on generalist practice across multiple areas of law.

Clients come to us at different stages — some at the very beginning, uncertain whether they have a matter that requires advice at all, and some well into a situation that has already developed considerably. We are equally prepared to assist in either case, and our first consultation is designed precisely for those who are not yet sure what they need.

Our office on Beach Road, Pattaya City, is open Monday through Friday and by appointment on Saturday mornings. We welcome enquiries by telephone and email, and we respond to all messages within one working day.
